  • Special features regarding teaching
    The special nature of this programme can be defined on the basis of two pillars: Pillar 1 = specialist expertise: ONE specialisation can be chosen from six to develop specialist expertise at the start of the programme: Specialisation 1 European financing and risk management, Specialisation 2 Property management, Specialisation 3 Personnel/organisation/strategy, Specialisation 4 Business planning & controlling, Specialisation 5 Corporate accounting & auditing, Specialisation 6 Sales psychology & marketing; Pillar 2 = Leadership programme: Students develop leadership skills and hone their social skills.
  • Special features regarding the international orientation
    The programme "Management Consulting and Corporate Management" utilises all structures available at the FHWN as well as the existing university and non-university partner network for international cooperation. In the fourth semester students have the option of applying to one of the partner universities. Even though the programme does not provide for work placements, the course director and the International Office assist students who want to complete work placements abroad during non-lecture periods.

    In its various specialisations, the programme is continuously involved in research projects. It is therefore a good idea to take a closer look at the websites of the specialisations. For example: scientific process support for a change process in public administration; research projects are based on "Facial Characteristics in Sales Conversations", "Good management", "Urban development".

    The Entrepreneurship & Leadership competence centre provides support for company start-ups. Future entrepreneurs also have the option of additionally completing a Master's programme, specially customised for them, on "Entrepreneurship & Applied Management"
  • Characteristics of assistance to differently abled persons
    Gender-equitable treatment and compliance with general prohibitions of discrimination are emphasised both for students and for staff (teaching, research, administration staff). Any special arrangements for students with disabilities are discussed and documented on the basis of a personal interview with the course director and on the basis of corresponding medical certificates.

A gender and diversity representative ensures that this topic is dealt with across the entire university, and further support initiatives are being developed.
