  • Special features regarding research and development
    The Faculty of Business Administration at the Dresden University of Applied Sciences is developing new methods and tools for developing digital business models at the interfaces of various disciplines (e.g. technical design and materials research) in current research projects. The aim is to familiarise SMEs (intrapreneurship) and researchers (spinoffs) with basic methods of business model development in an industry-specific but training-independent manner at an early stage in order to promote start-ups and the development of new business fields.
  • Support for founders
    One of the core competencies of the Faculty of Business Administration lies in the area of Entrepreneurship. In all courses, modules are integrated that impart knowledge in the areas of Business Model Development, Start-up Management, Innovation Management and Digital Transformation of Business Models. Due to the individual support, it is possible to set up and develop your own projects directly in the courses. In addition, professors with their own founding experience help as mentors, for example with funding applications or with their practice network.
  • Other special features
    Well connected central city location, VW Transparent Factory, football stadium, city park and German Hygiene Museum (conference area) within walking distance and city centre can be reached by train in 3 minutes.
