    In the interdisciplinary, cooperative course of study BIS, in-depth research-related contents of Business Informatics are conveyed in the modules of the FSU Jena and at the same time, an application-related course of study is guaranteed by the high practical relevance of the EAH Jena. As a result, students benefit from the strengths of both universities during the course of studies.
  • Special features regarding the international orientation
    The Business Administration department of the Ernst Abbe University of Applied Sciences Jena and the FSU Jena have a strong interest in international cooperation with foreign universities and companies. Students can use the international contacts of both universities for their studies. The Ernst Abbe University provides an overview of the cooperation with foreign universities as part of the international fair once a year. The Economics Faculty of the Friedrich Schiller University has a DIO with a comprehensive range of advice.

    The Business Administration department has been committed to promoting and supporting new start-ups in the university environment for more than ten years. The integration of entrepreneurial thinking and acting also plays a major role as part of Business Administration training. The Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship was established as an important milestone.
