Special features regarding teachingEconomics in Passau is particularly strong in research. Publications in A+ and A- journals and frequency of citation are of a particularly high level. This sound research level is integrated into the Master's courses. As a result, an especially large number of Master IEB graduates move on to doctoral studies. The link to practice is influential thanks to the empirical approach of research and teaching.

This opens Master IEB students doors to work placements and semesters abroad. International professors regularly visit for seminar presentations that Master IEB students attend.
