Further information provided by the department

  • Special features regarding the international orientation
The programmes Bachelor of Health Informatics and Master of Medical Informatics are offered at the European Campus Pfarrkirchen. The programmes are taught fully in English. The teaching staff is international.
  • Characteristics of assistance to differently abled persons
In a personal guidance interview with the head of department, solutions are developed together with the disabled student so that they can complete the course. The contact for students with disabilities, Prof. Dr. Hansmaier, conducts individual guidance sessions and demonstrates support options as to how everyday student life can be designed in a way that is as unlimited as possible. In this way, disabled students can, for example, be granted a driving permit on the otherwise car-free campus. The buildings of the THD are suitable for the disabled.
  • Other special features
The three study programmes are geared to health professions.
