Special features regarding teachingThe contents of the three courses are based on an engineering foundation course. This is followed by separate course-specific training. Many laboratory practicals and excursions guarantee a high practical relevance. Innovative topics such as renewable energies and smart grids are integral parts of the lectures.
-
Special features regarding the international orientationThe partnerships with several international universities and companies allow students to spend semesters abroad and practical phases in almost all regions of the world.
-
Special features regarding the equipmentOur laboratories and research facilities are equipped with innovative measuring instruments. Semi-industrial testing facilities illustrate complex practical processes.
-
Special features regarding research and developmentNumerous research projects develop and examine current questions of building, energy and environmental technology. Examples include e-mobility, climate protection, water filtration, flood protection, smart grid etc.
-
Other special featuresThe department accommodates a variety of different disciplines (energy, process engineering, water management, building automation, microbiology and hygiene etc.).
