Special features regarding teachingFirst year is full-time, 3-month dual phase model from 3rd semester; introductory semester with starter project; Revision classes until the 3rd sem.; 5th sem. in English; Optional blocks in the 5th semester to be coordinated with the training in the partner companies.

Special features regarding the international orientationOptional semester abroad in the 5th sem.; Periods abroad also possible as part of work practice; 114 partner universities worldwide; 20% outgoing students, 20% incoming students.

Special features regarding the equipmentaLab: Industrial robots, mobile robots, measuring systems (el., mech., opt.); eLab: Fully equipped training workstations (PC, function generators, various electronic measuring devices, oscilloscope, SPS; all devices are connected; measuring stations); Measuring and testing equipment (electr., magn., acoustic, thermal); Software for measurement, control, regulation; Simulation, electr. design and programming; Complete production el. circuit boards; mLab: Equipment for material and damage testing, workpiece measurement (mechan. a. opt.); Milling, turning, laser processing; All labs can be used outside formal study.

Support for foundersstartupstube - advice for students with ideas: Brings together students of different disciplines and helps them during the start-up process. Other special featuresAll technical laboratories can also be used for private (registered) projects; No tuition fees; Grants also available for non-Austrians Students; Partner company salary: EUR 1100,-- / month continuously + 2 special payments per year.
