  • Special features regarding the international orientation
    We want to offer our native students a programme with a truly international, multi-cultural atmosphere with international colleagues and international lecturers. This degree course actively encourages and promotes international experience. The Master's project in the 3rd semester and the Master's thesis in the 4th semester can be carried out in a company abroad or in a research institute. Another option is a double degree in cooperation with INSA Strasbourg.

    The Faculty of Technology in Wels is the largest and strongest research faculty of the FH Oberösterreich: approx. 180 current projects, approx. 9M€ acquired R&D funds per year and approx. 140 R&D employees. Major projects, e.g: Josef-Ressel-Zentrum for innovative multi-body dynamics, Josef-Ressel-Zentrum für thermographic non-destructive testing, K-Zentrum für Feed and Food, Quality, Safety and Innovation, various Interreg projects together with research institutions from Bavaria and the Czech Republic, and many more.

    Campus in the city centre and close to the railway station; due to the small size, direct contact to the professors with intensive project support; high proportion of practical work in all study courses; fixed practice and laboratory places, extensive tutorials in elective subjects (e.g. languages); possibility to acquire external certificates in the areas of quality and environmental management (TÜV-Süd), value analysis (VDI).
