    Comprehensive, integrative and methodically based training in Business Administration and Economics in all courses; covering the entire spectrum of Economics in teaching; conscious preservation of the range of topics and decision against an overly strong and risky profile formation by only defining a few specialisations; interdisciplinary events and specialisations allow students to focus on individual areas of interest; motivating, varied courses through a wide range of modern didactic concepts.
  • Special features regarding the international orientation
    Student mobility is strongly encouraged. Each Bachelor student in the 3rd/4th semester is guaranteed a space abroad. At this point, the Faculty has 79 international partnerships, among them also highly renowned universities, such as Instituto Technologico de Monterrey in Mexico or Università di Bologna; By continuously expanding the number of English-taught courses, inviting international visiting professors and establishing an international summer school, the faculty’s internationalisation is being advanced further.

    Several chairs and professors actively support founders, have founding experience themselves and have acted as EXIST mentors several times; the department has a chair for business start-up and management. There is close cooperation with the research and technology transfer service center of the university (start-up advice, patent and license management, etc.), the innovation and start-up center Würzburg, which is involved in courses, for example, as well as the technology and start-up center of the university and the IHK Chamber of Commerce.
