Special features regarding teachingThe course has integrated application laboratories. Typical fields of investigation “Logistics laboratory”: Modelling and planning of logistics systems / processes using tactile and digital models; measurement of economic and technical parameters of logistics systems / processes for evaluation, control and optimisation purposes. Typical fields of investigation “Retail laboratory”: Behaviour of consumers when selecting products in retail; Inclusion of information from advertising spaces, subject analysis.
Special features regarding the international orientationContacts to higher education are created, especially with institutions in Sweden: Linköping and Linnaeus University as well as the universities of Jonkoping, Halmstad, Kristianstad and the Yrkeshögskolan in Osby. Partnership contracts have been concluded with the universities of Linköping and Linnaeus. Through congresses and research projects, there are also diverse contacts to individual professors at universities in China, Japan, Taiwan, the Philippines, Korea, Thailand, Estonia, Paraguay and Argentina. Further international university partnerships are currently being established.
