  • Special features regarding teaching
    The degree is particularly practice- and project-oriented. During the BA and/or MA training, students develop a comprehensive project portfolio that convincingly documents their competencies. For example, they develop computer games, web applications, mixed reality applications and apps. Creativity is required in the collaboration with designers from the MultiMediaArt course. During the joint project work, the students get to know each other's working methods and train the collaboration in creative teams that is customary in the industry.
  • Special features regarding the equipment
    A special feature of the degree course in MultiMediaTechnology is that project rooms are made available for students to complete their final projects and Master's final projects. Furthermore, students have access to the 200 m² showroom to develop and present large objects and for exhibition purposes. The technical equipment for the course includes multiple computer labs, an AV system available on loan, hardware available on loan, e.g. tablets, smartphones, AR/VR equipment, etc., laboratories for video editing, 3D computer graphics, sound studio etc. are available.
  • Special features regarding research and development
    The research is focused on the areas: 1) Augmented Intelligence, 2) Interactive Graphical Systems, and 3) Usability Engineering. A strong interdisciplinary link with the field of health sciences has been established over the past years.
