Special features regarding teachingThe Bachelor’s degree course in Smart Building combines the basic principles of construction and engineering with the innovative approach of energy-efficient facility engineering. The focus is on sustainable construction, holistic perspectives and efficient use of energy and costs. The Master’s degree programme in Smart Buildings in Smart Cities provides you with comprehensive basic and practical specialist knowledge in the fields of building, urban and neighbourhood development. Environmental pollution, population change, scarcity of resources – smart cities and smart buildings can make a significant contribution towards solving all these problems.

Special features regarding the international orientationStudy abroad within the scope of the Erasmus+ programme means: fixed agreement of flows of students; guaranteed recognition of the Lvs agreed with the STGL and the international course coordinators with the partner institution before the start of the semester abroad; monthly scholarship of approx. €300; no tuition fees at the host university. Thanks to Erasmus+ funding, FHS students can receive a funded full-time internship within Europe. To receive the Erasmus+ funding, the minimum duration of the internship abroad is 2 to 12 months.
