  • Special features regarding teaching
The teaching staff take an artistic-social approach. Sustainability, climate protection - these are topics of our time, which the students will be dealing with as much as with manual creativity. The campus has an informal atmosphere and and excellent tutor-student ratio that allows the teaching staff to look after students individually. The central training objectives include structural design and construction and as well as urban planning. The internationally oriented Master's degree programmes offer complex architectural practice.

  • Other special features
Students of the department have been involved in international development cooperation since 2006. Six successful projects were planned and built by the students themselves: A children's library and workshop building in South Africa, a health centre and water treatment station in Guatemala, a school and community centre in Nepal and a health centre in Haiti. These projects are extremely valuable contributions to interdisciplinary cooperation, practical training and personality development. https://www.hs-anhalt.de/unity/willkommen.html
