Further information provided by the department

  • Special features regarding teaching
Our architecture course focuses on design and planning. Knowledge acquired about typology, construction, historical development and social context is merged with illustration and design skills at an early stage and applied to solve planning problems. Design is developed and taught as a core skill in projects of an increasingly complex nature. Conceptual thinking, creativity, interdisciplinarity, consideration of sustainability and the inclusion of new academic fields are promoted through assigned sub-projects.
