    Interdisciplinary, cross-faculty courses, cooperation with the faculties of Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science + Mathematics, Electrical Engineering and Civil Engineering and the University of Regensburg; The engineering training is linked with a creative, artistic component in BA/MA Architecture and BA Industrial Design; Teaching focuses on reflective design in the ecological and historical context of architecture, urban and rural development; Teaching in all degree courses aims to create a forward-looking creative consciousness that takes sustainability into account.

  • Other special features
    The faculty of architecture and its degree courses Architecture (BA/MA), Historical Building Research (MA), Industrial Design (BA) and Building Climatology (B.Eng.) is currently housed at the Prüfening site of OTH Regensburg in a building that has been listed since 2018. The faculty is expected to move in the 2020/21 academic year into a building designed and currently being built by Henning Larsen Architects, which is on the Galgenberg campus of OTH Regensburg. After the move, the architecture student body's Café A will reopen on the top level of the new building overlooking the campus and the city!
