As FB2 has medium-term investment planning, the laboratories are always up-to-date and innovative.

Special features regarding research and developmentTeaching staff in the faculty attach great importance to the ideas of research-based teaching and teaching-based research. They provide a good example of this. FB2 supports the overarching aims of the HTW: ‘Gaining profile – strengthening research’. FB2 strives to significantly increase its ability to perform and innovate in terms of research & development and strives to significantly increase research activities in the medium to long term, in particular with regard to the amount of third-party funds raised.
