Special features regarding teachingCollaborative degree course with orientation semester; Extended initial study phase; Get to the university and university of applied sciences. Bachelor’s degree course: Broad basic training; High proportion of practicals; project work in the first and fourth semesters with early introduction to research; Exercises in small groups; flexible transition to the Master's degree course; Study abroad and work placement abroad, from the third academic year; choice of five areas of specialisation. Master's degree course: 6 specialisations, mostly English-language courses; Options; numerous exchange programmes worldwide (double degree); Industrial clerkship.

Special features regarding the international orientationOur international links enable our students to expand their cross-cultural skills at renowned universities around the world. Students can spend one or two semesters studying abroad at one of our international partner universities during the Bachelor's or Master's degree course, either as "free-mover" or within the ERASMUS programme. We also offer double degrees as part of the so-called T.I.M.E. programmes. Our foreign partners are the French Écoles Centrales, KTH Stockholm, CTU Prague, UPC Madrid, Keio Tokyo, Bauman University Moscow.
