Special features regarding teachingAs part of the PoLiMINT project, problem-based learning (PBL) is already implemented during the initial study phase of the degree course. To this end, appropriate learning environments are developed, introduced and adapted for basic modules, e.g. Engineering Physics. The PoliMINT LAB is a type of test and work space in the form of a project seminar. The basic idea is to experiment with different concepts for problem-based learning environments and their social dynamics in order to gauge the subject-specific, didactic and methodological suitability.
Special features regarding the international orientationMore than 40 cooperation agreements with partner universities worldwide. A further impetus is provided by the New Yorker liaison office in the district of Manhattan which the Hochschule Bremen maintains together with six partner universities of applied sciences in the "German House". The establishment of the Master's degree course is another important milestone in the international focus. As a forward-looking, technical degree course in the natural sciences in English, it makes the Hochschule Bremen even more attractive on the international education market.
