    Innovative teaching-learning concept which has won many awards: 4-1 model. Four weeks of lectures are followed by a project week when the students independently work on industry-related and application-based tasks in small groups. Starter module with special starter projects to orient students in the subject; High practical and application relevance, high proportion of project work; Many lecturers from industry; Interdisciplinary cooperation between students and teaching staff in the department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Technical Journalism.
  • Special features regarding the international orientation
    International partnerships and courses, International Office, Welcome Centre for incoming students, Study Buddy programme for international students, international guest academics, stays abroad of own staff (teacher exchange, Erasmus, DAAD, etc.), defined mobility window in the fifth Bachelor's semester, additional certificate "International Engineer", over 30 languages offered in the Language Centre, cross-cultural communication in the syllabus.
