Special features regarding teachingBachelor's and Master's degree course can be studied in overlap; all Bachelor's graduates of the department are given a place on the corresponding Master's degree course; The EIT Master's degree with specialisation courses in Embedded Systems and in Automation and Control can be studied in English. Non-technical module "Introduction to working in engineering" teaches the basics of project and self-management and presentation and writing skills

Special features regarding the international orientationEuropean Master's programme in Embedded Computing Systems (EMECS): joint degree (University of Southampton, University of Throndheim), in English; Master's degree course in EIT (Electrical Engineering and Information Technology), specialisations in Embedded Systems and Integrated Systems can be followed entirely in English; 22 partner universities in the ERASMUS programme; study possible with Universität der Großregion (Metz, Nancy, Liege, Luxembourg); around 50% of the students in the department are from abroad; around 30 countries are represented in the department.
