    Inter-disciplinary, fundamental orientation, application related, practical relevance, research related, reference, high flexibility, continuous adaptation to the requirements of industry and science; sound grounding in mathematics and physics, broad foundation training in all fields of electrical engineering and information technology as the basis for subsequent specialisation; focus on transition to Master's degree course without loss of time. Specialisations can be chosen from over 20 broadly based specializations in the Master's program (a broad range of specialisation areas that is also unique at the international level).

    A large number of international cooperation partners have started from renowned research institutes and universities such as MIT (USA), AIST (Japan), Technion (Israel), NUS (Singapore), INP (Grenoble), ESIEE (Paris), University of Southampton, Universidad Pontificia Comillas (Madrid) and industrial companies such as ABB, Synopsis, Nokia, Mitsubishi Electric, Sony, Daimler, Siemens, Bosch, EADS.
