  • Special features regarding the international orientation
Students can spend one semester studying abroad, where they can gain valuable and unique experiences. Prof. Axel Bangert is the foreign student advisor for the degree course in Electrical Engineering. You can also find further information about studying abroad on the website of the International Office: http://www.uni-kassel.de/uni/internationales/international-office/startseite.html
  • Exchange universities for stay abroads
Aalto-Yliopisto, Finnland; Univeristy of Bradford, UK; Université de Montpellier, Frankreich; Università degli Studi di Parma, Italien; University of Calgary, Kanada; AGH University of Science and Technology, Polen; Linköping University, Schweden; Universidad de Málaga, Spanien

  • Support for founders
no spec. departmental measures, participation in university-wide measures and projects.
  • Other special features
Electrical Engineering courses collaborate with the BA/MA degree course in Computer Science in the department; STIP (studies in association with practical experience) for BA/MA degree courses (dual degree course). The Electrical Engineering and Information Engineering Department also works with the IEE (Fraunhofer) Institute of Wind Energy and Renewable Energy Sources in Kassel. Furthermore, it is worth mentioning that students of Electrical and Electronic Engineering have extensive opportunities to choose a specialism due to the focus of several institutes and chairs on Renewable Energies and Wind Power. The Vehicle System Technology/E-Mobility specialism is another feature.
