    Inter-disciplinary degree course with broad foundation in Economics, Engineering and Law. Extensive methods teaching with a high degree of practical relevance. General training in the Bachelor's degree course, high level of specialisation with many differentiated options in the Master's course. The Bayreuth Industrial Engineering degree is characterised by a solid engineering education and the integration of legal content. Small groups; International visiting professors programme.

    Liaison for those with severe disabilities, individual counselling. Through the addition of the counselling office for students with disabilities and chronic health problems, the counselling and support services for students have been expanded comprehensively since 2015.

    The concept of "Ökonomen Bayreuther Prägung" (Bayreuth Economic Focus), characterised by general training during the BSc and a high level of specialisation with a multitude of options in the MSc programmes, has been transferred to the Industrial Engineering degree course with balanced components of Engineering, Economics and Law. The inter-disciplinary approach and international focus of research and teaching is reflected in the inter-disciplinary modules, the lively exchange with companies, numerous exchange programmes as well as the national and international research network.
