    Inter-disciplinary projects: Apart from practice-oriented projects, students can choose research-oriented projects that deal with current issues by way of teaching/research projects. Frequently these projects are done in cooperation with industry facilities. This involves the specialisation and consolidation of research skills already acquired. Establishment of a teaching and research clinic: Teaching, practice and research concepts are currently being developed; Involvement of students in research projects at the university’s own research institute.

  • Characteristics of diversity advancement
    Diversity is a key issue in the study area. The teachers have prepared a mission statement and position paper that is discussed with students during the orientation period. Under the project leadership of our colleague Prof. Dr. Cordula Borbe, a publication called “Gender and Diversity in Teaching and Research” was created. There is close integration of teachers and students in the implementation (discussions about contents, quality assurance ensured by module coordinators).
