  • Special features regarding teaching
The special feature of the vocational academy is the combination of studies and professional training. Two partners are responsible for ensuring that the students have the right career skills and qualifications: The company as the practical training partner (practice phases) and the study academy as an institution for the theoretical training at university level (theory phases). As practitioners mainly carry out the theoretical training (up to 60%), a close link to practice is guaranteed. The students complete their course with the integration of seminar groups (maximum size: 34).
  • Special features regarding the equipment
Four computer science laboratories; ERP labs; CAD Lab; Stereo projection for 3D presentation; Electrical engineering laboratory, automation technology laboratory; CIM factory (a storage and manufacturing area to model scale); Language lab with multimedia learning environment; Measurement technology laboratory (optical measuring technology, laser measurement, confocal laser microscopy); Multimedia laboratory with video editing stations (digital image processing and digital video editing); Film studio with programmable lighting technology and green-screen technology; CO2 laser separation plants.
