Special features regarding teachingHigh degree of practical orientation – external lecturers from industry hold practical lectures (e.g. Personnel Management); very international; lecturers from 5 continents (e.g. South Africa, Australia, Canada, Morocco); very small groups; e-learning and blended learning methods; 50% of lectures given in a foreign language; extracurricular lecture series; broad-based theoretical and practical training; networked communication of content, methods, language and social skills to be successful at work; Bachelor's thesis on an economic topic and with practical orientation.
Special features regarding the international orientationThe FH Kufstein in Tyrol sees itself as "The International University of Applied Sciences". Common aspects for all courses are the integration of foreign languages in the curriculum, a significant proportion of English-language specialist courses, at least one compulsory semester abroad (in the full-time Bachelor's programmes) and a study trip (for career-integrated Bachelor's and Master's programmes). For incoming students from 176 partner universities around the world, the FH Kufstein Tyrol offers a special study programme, the "International Programme".

Special features regarding research and developmentA special feature of the course is the expansive and continuously growing network of partner universities and partner companies. Joint research in three areas – specific areas of Business Administration such as market entry strategies, cross-cultural issues and issues relating to economic policy (e.g. stability criteria within the EU). Regular project assignments and integrative case studies; key research areas: International Consumer Behaviour, International Marketing, Company Start-up Research, Turnaround Management; joint research with our alumni.
