Opening times central course guidance
Guidance consultation hours without appointment: Mon and Wed 14:00-16:00, Tue and Thu 10:00-12:00. These times don't suit you? No problem: just call us or write us an e-mail, then we'll find an appointment, even outside of normal times. Brief information: we can be reached Mon-Thu, 09:00-12:00 and 14:00-16:00, in person or by telephone. Appointments are also possible by arrangement.
Special features regarding the library
Decentralised, single-level library system with four departmental libraries two research libraries and many other special locations. Key collection specialisations: European Law, Cultural History of the Early Modern Age, Migration. Around 1.64 million media items; approx. 2,500 print journals; Over 50,000 licensed e-journals (including cross access, aggregators); 650 licensed online databases; Numerous e-book collections; 406 opening hours a week at all sites; University theses server for electronic publications. more information

Special features regarding university sports
The university offers its own sports programme. Some courses are free of charge, some subject to fees. The programme is open to: Higher education institutions in the regional university sports federation for Lower Saxony/Bremen (Hochschulsportverband Niedersachsen/Bremen). Students attending the institution can participate in sports programmes of the higher education institutions in the regional university sports federation for Lower Saxony/Bremen (Hochschulsportverband Niedersachsen/Bremen). Varied joint university sports programme for Osnabrück University and Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences, offering two large sports programmes and short intermediate programmes. Wide range of fitness and health sports courses. In the summer, the football university league and the beach league enliven the outdoor facilities of the sport centre. more information
