Foreign language center and courses
There is a foreign language centre. Languages offered: English, French, German as a foreign language, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Swedish, Polish, Russian, Chinese, Japanese, Turkish, Arabic, Dutch, Farsi, Korean. As long as they have access, our students can also participate in the online courses of other language centres at universities in Germany. We would take this course work into account in placements in our courses. more information
Special features regarding university sports
The university offers its own sports programme. Students can participate in the sports programmes of the universities of the University Sports Federation of Lower Saxony/Bremen. Some courses are free of charge, some subject to fees. The wide range of university sports offers is aimed both at students of the university and those of the Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences; due to different semester schedules, these offers are divided into early starter programmes, large sports programmes and holiday sports programmes. Both courses and sports trips, as well as other highlights such as the Uni Football League, are offered. Online courses that enable participation elsewhere can also be used in addition to in-person sports offers.
