Opening times central course guidance
Drop-in office hours, general academic guidance service: Mon, Wed and Thu 13:00-15:30, Tue and Fri 9:00-12:00, and monthly late opening Tue 15:00-17:30 as announced. Student information hotline service: Mon-Fri 09:00-12:00 and 13:00-15:00, Fri 09:00-12:00 – available at +49 (0)231 755 2345. Psychological student advice and counselling: available daily during drop-in office hours and telephone consultation hours; coaching appointments upon prior notification; individual appointments by arrangement. Talent scouting in the transition from school to higher education in cooperating schools and student support. Appointments are also possible by arrangement.

A main library and 3 departmental libraries, information centre for technology and patents, university archive of the TU Dortmund; Range of media items in print and electronic format; Features: Katalog plus, university library blog with comment function, live chat for questions, many guided tours and courses (e.g. the Citavi literature management programme), Eldorado repositories; Daily opening hours of the main library (excluding public holidays) until 1:00, open 122 hours per week. Special features regarding university sports
The university offers its own sports programme. Participation is subject to fees. Dortmund students may participate in the university sports programme of other selected universities. About 70 types of sports and fitness studio directly on campus. Most of the sports programme can be used without additional costs after obtaining the inexpensive sports card (€15/semester); Annual several events such as campus runs, with more than 1,500 runners. more information
