Special features regarding university sports
The university offers its own sports programme. Some courses are free of charge, some subject to fees. Students at the Chemnitz University of Technology can take part in university championships or competitions organised by the ADH (General German University Sports Association) or LHS (State Conference University Sports Saxony). The participation of students in the general university sport of other colleges and universities is subject to the respective regulations of the individual universities. Special features of the sports program at Chemnitz University of Technology are the university's fitness studio (ZFG). There are also attractive offers through numerous cooperations with external providers / partners such as climbing centre, Chemnitz bouldering lounge, Club Nautique Leipzig (sailing), Golf Club Wasserschloss Klaffenbach, ice rink (curling) , surf camp, Chemnitz shooting range and much more.
