The university library offers an extensive range of electronic and print media; Wide range of workspace types available (individual/group workspaces, online booking possible for groups); Cafeteria and lounge; Advice/training on effective research, e-learning platforms, literature management; Advice on writing technique, etc.; Loan self-service borrowing. Special features regarding university sports
The university offers its own sports programme. Participation is subject to fees. Participation in sports programs within Baden-Württemberg on request. Cooperations with other universities in Baden-Wuerttemberg in the area of excursions. The programme is open to: Students of other universities (with proof of status). Broad, inexpensive range of courses for students and staff; large number of health courses; Corporate Health Management courses for staff (including break-time exercises, mobile massage, breaks in motion); Weekend workshops in various fields with nationally and internationally-acclaimed guest lecturers; Range of excursions both in the summer and winter; various major events (100 km relay race, German University Championships, dance evenings, etc.).
