Special features regarding university sports
The university offers its own sports programme. Students are allowed to take part in university sports programs of all Thuringian universities. Participation is subject to fees. Program is open for: Students of Thuringian universities at the student rate. Students of other higher education institutions can participate as “external members” if there is free capacity. Excellent sports facilities (climbing wall, newly renovated grass court, tennis court, beach volleyball court, pumptrack, archery range) directly on campus; diverse sports program including excursions during semester breaks; football campus league, numerous student tournaments.
