With a stock of nearly 4 million volumes and extensive digital resources, Thuringia University and State Library (ThULB) is not only valued as a "place of learning" but also as a provider of information. The "Universal Multimedia Electronic Library" of the ThULB is a powerful platform for various applications. Members of the university can publish work electronically worldwide and integrate multimedia into teaching, e.g. using the electronic course reserves in which lecturers can make materials available. more information

The University Sports Department of the University of Jena organizes sports and exercise programs with more than 700 offers per semester, all organized by our more than 350 exercise instructors. Various offers from the first acquaintance with a sport to preparation for competitions in traditional sports such as football, handball, athletics, rowing, judo to established modern forms of exercise such as yoga, aerobics, jazz dance, beach volleyball, fitness training and health sports courses, to trendy and exotic sports such as Zumba, climbing, juggling and slacklining. more information
