Personal consultations available without appointment on the Duisburg campus: Mon 14:00-16:00, Tue and Thu 10:00-12:00 in Room SG 055, Geibelstraße; Brief information by telephone at +49 (0201) 183-2014; additional course information without registration: Thu 14:00-18:00, Sat 11:00-14:00 in the university office in the Stadtfenster (city centre office, Steinsche Gasse 26, 47051 Duisburg). Appointments are also possible by arrangement.

The library offers comprehensive training on how to manage the wealth of information with confidence. Work opportunities can be taken advantage of in the library daily from 08:00-22:00, Sat & Sun 10:00-22:00. The university offers its own sports programme. Some courses are free of charge, some subject to fees. The programme is open to: Students of the Hochschule Ruhr West University of Applied Sciences in cooperation. Students of all other higher education institutions.
