Special features regarding the library
The library services are provided within the Communication and Information Centre (KIZ) at the Universität Ulm. Virtually the entire library stock of print and non-print media is available to users in the main library and one subject-specific departmental library. 580 workspaces are available. The opening hours of the main library: Mon.-Fri. 8: 00-22: 00 p.m., Sat 10: 00-20: 00 p.m .; during the exam preparation from 15.01.-15.03. and from 15.06 to 05.08 the following extended opening times: Mon.-Fri. 8 a.m. to 11 p.m., Saturdays and Sundays 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. more information
Foreign language center and courses
There is a foreign language centre. Offered languages: English, French, German as a foreign language, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Swedish, Russian, Chinese, Japanese, Turkish, Arabic, German Sign Language. Arabic, Russian and German sign language are currently not offered online. more information
Special features regarding university sports
The university offers its own sports programme. The university sports program at the University of Ulm is open to students from the University of Ulm and the universities of Ulm and Neu-Ulm. Approximately 120 sports courses are organised and offered per semester. A gym on campus, equipped with modern, card-controlled cardio and strength-training equipment, as well as a functional training area and train tower extend the offer.
