Special features regarding the library
Bamberg university library is divided into six sites and is therefore convenient for everyone. Students with a chip card have 24/7 access. It makes available the majority of the required literature online, supports the students and teaching staff with literature and information search, promotes information literary and electronic publishing (including by Open-Access-Universitätsverlag) and advises on copyright issues. more information

The university offers its own sports programme. Some courses are free of charge, some subject to fees. The students of the University of Bamberg can also use the university sports services of all Bavarian universities. We currently offer 94 courses in fitness programs, health sports, martial arts, ball games, dance and team sports. The students and staff of the University of Bamberg can access a very diverse range of activities at low cost. The activities are monitored by well-qualified instructors. more information
