Bamberg university library is divided into six sites and is therefore convenient for everyone. Open 24/7 for students with a chip card. It provides a large part of the required literature online, supports students, teachers and researchers in literature and information research, promotes information literacy and electronic publishing (including through the Open Access University publishing house and the research information system) and advises on copyright issues and on research data management. more information

Special features regarding university sports
The university offers its own sports programme. Some courses are free of charge, some subject to fees. The students of the University of Bamberg can also use the university sports services of all Bavarian universities. We currently offer 104 courses in fitness programs, health sports, martial arts, ball games, dance and team sports. The students and staff of the University of Bamberg have inexpensive access to a very diverse and high quality offer. The activities are monitored by well-qualified instructors. more information
