Special features regarding the library
The MSH has a reference library with around 12,000 media at two locations. In addition to textbooks and specialist literature, there are also magazines (print and digital), e-books as well as access to licensed databases and a collection of more then 250 test procedures to use free of charge. more information

Special features regarding university sports
The university offers its own sports programme. Some courses are free of charge, some subject to fees. The MSH cooperates with the university sports of Hamburg. This offers students a wide range of sports for only a small fee: How the students can use the "Fitness Card" to train in three fitness studios at a reduced rate. The MSH participates in the annual "Cup der Privaten" football tournament and organises regular training to prepare for this event, which all interested students can take advantage of free of charge. In addition, the college's own basketball team regularly trains and students also have the opportunity to take a tango course. The MSH has been a member of the General German University Sports Association since October 2012. Thus, both the students as well as the staff of MSH can use all services of the umbrella organization of the German university sports without restriction. more information
