Special features regarding the library
The library at the Alanus Hochschule currently (in 2016) holds approx. 23,500 media items, including current textbooks and specialist journals for the degree courses taught at the university, a wide range of literature covering related subjects, daily newspapers, non-book media and e-books, as well as a large business literature database. The entire media stock of the library of the Alanus Hochschule can be searched in the online library catalogue; the same applies to the holdings of the HKS University of Applied Sciences and Arts, Ottersberg. The Alanus library is networked with the German interlibrary loan system. more information

Special features regarding university sports
The university offers its own sports programme. Participation is subject to fees. Football, yoga, tango, badminton – every semester the university sports programme of the Alanus Hochschule offers a variety of sports courses. In addition to classics like pilates and football, the programme always adds new things. There are also several collaborations with external providers such as a gym in Bonn or the Alfter tennis club. The amateur football field and the beach volleyball court next to Campus II of the Alanus has periods reserved for university sports. During these periods, students and staff of the university have priority access. more information
