Opening times central course guidance
Service hours on campus I (Johannishof): appointments after notification. Service hours on Campus II (Villestraße 3): Mon-Wed 08:30-12:30 and Tue and Wed 13:30-15:30, Thu 10:00-12:30. Appointments are also possible by arrangement.
Special features regarding the library
The library at the Alanus Hochschule currently (in 2016) holds approx. 23,500 media items, including current textbooks and specialist journals for the degree courses taught at the university, a wide range of literature covering related subjects, daily newspapers, non-book media and e-books, as well as a large business literature database. The entire media stock of the library of the Alanus Hochschule can be searched in the online library catalogue; the same applies to the holdings of the HKS University of Applied Sciences and Arts, Ottersberg. The Alanus library is networked with the German interlibrary loan system. more information

There is no foreign language centre.
Special features regarding university sports
The university offers its own sports programme. Participation is subject to fees. Students attending the institution can participate in the University of Bonn sports programme. The start of the 2012/2013 autumn semester saw the launch of the new university sports programme. A varied programme has been put together based on a large body of feedback from an internal survey on university sport. In addition to the attractive course programme at the university and in various halls around Alfter, there are also facilities for borrowing sports equipment at campus I and II and there are numerous cooperation initiatives in place with the local sports associations. Sports currently offered: badminton, volleyball, football, Zumba, yoga, eurythmics. more information
