Opening times central course guidance
Student counselling: Tue 10:30-12:00, Wed 14:00-15:30, Thu 10:30-12:00 and 13:30-15:00; Career guidance: Tue 14:00-15:30. Appointments are also possible by arrangement.
Special features regarding the library
Structure: Single-level library system with storage facility, subject-specific reference libraries and an historic collections library. Special features: short distances, access to store orders in 30 minutes, intensive user assistance and orientation (e.g. quick responses, rapid business processes, optimisation of the OPAC, acquisition proposals, training courses), comfortable facilities with reading spaces; Print and e-library (databases, e-books and e-journals, statistical data); Opening hours of important sites Mon-Fri from 8:30 - 23:00, Saturdays 9:00 - 19:30, Sundays during the exam period. more information
Foreign language courses
There is a foreign language centre. Foreign Language Philologies: English, French, Italian, Spanish. Students of all faculties: Arabic, Chinese, Czech, English, French, Italian, Japanese, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish and German as a Foreign Language. more information
Special features regarding university sports
The university offers its own sports programme. Some courses are free of charge, some subject to fees. The programme is open to: Cooperation partners of the Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt but students from other universities may also participate in principle, with certain restrictions. In light of the high proportion of female students at KU, the core focus of the largely free university sports programme is on: health and fitness, gymnastics and dance, agility and relaxation. In addition, the full range of standard university sports – from sport games to martial arts – is also offered. A spacious fitness studio is available to students for around 60 hours/week. more information
