Stuttgart Media University (HdM) library is a specialist academic library. It purchases, archives and communicates specialist information in both digital and conventional format. Through specialist portals and catalogues, it offers access to information available worldwide and provides teaching and research with information and media. Through advice and training, it promotes the media and information literacy of users and supports self-directed learning. Quite workstations are available for this, as are group and team work areas. more information

Special features regarding university sports
The university does not have its own sports programme. Students of the Hochschule der Medien pay reduced fees to participate in courses in general university sports offered at the University of Stuttgart. Participation is subject to fees. Independently of the sports programme at the Universität Stuttgart, students of the Hochschule der Medien are also able to participate in competitions and tournaments offered as part of the university sports programme. more information
