Stock: Approximately 37,000 print media systematically shelved in open stacks; More than 108,000 E-Books; More than 42,000 licensed E-Journals; 120 current subscriptions to journals in print.; Services: Most E-Media are also accessible to students at HFT (Stuttgart University of Applied Sciences) from outside the campus via authentication or VPN and are thus available 24/7 worldwide. Other services: Individual support for students at the combined IT and library information desk as well as from home via bookable Zoom session, iPad loans for members of the members of HFT Stuttgart, literature management licensed in a team with Citavi, two book scanners available free of charge, 50 workstations and five individual booths. more information |
There is a foreign language centre. Languages offered: English, German as a foreign language, Spanish, Italian, Chinese, Japanese. There is a cooperation with VESPA (VErbund für SPrachenAngelegenheiten), a multi-university initiative for language instruction. |
The university does not have its own sports programme. For the students of the HFT Stuttgart, participation in the sports program of the University of Stuttgart is also possible. Participation is subject to fees. The ‘Architectural School Race’ [‘Bauschullauf’] for students and graduates, held together with Esslingen University, traditionally takes place in Jungholz during winter semester. The event is intended for skiers who can compete in both cross-country and giant slalom, as well as for snowboarders. The ‘Architectural School Race’ will unfortunately not be held in 2022. more information |
