Special features regarding the library
The EH library provides its users with access to 53,000 printed and electronic media items, primarily within the fields of Social Work, Social Policy, Social Law, Protestant Religious Education, Protestant Social Work and Early Years Education. Workspaces and internet access are provided and the staff assist with searching for relevant media, for example by supplying and maintaining electronic search tools, helping people to use them and conducting training on information skills. Special features regarding university sports
The university offers its own sports programme. Participation is free of charge. Students attending the institution can participate in the sports programme of the Universität Freiburg, the Katholische Hochschule Freiburg and the Pädagogische Hochschule Freiburg.The programme is open to the Katholische Hochschule, as well as to the university and the Pädagogische Hochschule by prior agreement. In addition to the general university sports programme, the Evangelische Hochschule offers 90 minutes of popular sports every week during the winter semester. Here, ideas for sports and movement work with different target groups are tried out. Through the additional SPOSA qualification, it is possible to gain more in-depth skills (practical, theoretical and empirical) and provide evidence of these skills with a certificate. more information
