Special features regarding the library
The library considers itself a teaching library: the students of most degree programmes receive course training on the subject of scientific work. Together with the compulsory first-semester training and an additional training offer during the final thesis, a three-stage model for imparting information skills results. In addition, the library, with extended opening hours until midnight, is a central place of study and work at the university. more information

Special features regarding university sports
The university offers its own sports programme. Students attending the institution can participate in the sports programme of the Hochschule Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences. Participation is free of charge. The programme includes many sports such as football, volleyball, hockey, table tennis, badminton, basketball and Ultimate Frisbee. In addition to these are fitness sessions such as a running group, ghetto workout, dance workout, Jump & Run, Bodyfit for Women or gym (circuit training). Various dance courses are also available. There are also various arrangements with sports providers from the region who offer reduced rates for students. The includes activities from golf to martial arts to bouldering. more information
