Special features regarding the library
Locations: Central facility on the campus of the Kempten University of Applied Sciences.; Stock: Book stock of approx. 100,000 volumes, 250,000 electronic books, 50,000 electronic journals and approx. 230 running journals as well as regional and national newspapers for use in the reading room.; Services: There are numerous quiet individual workstations located in the main library building; a separate, specially designated area is available for group work. Training sessions for literature research on seminar and project papers as well as theses. Introductory and advanced training in use of the Citavi literature management program. Computer workstation with reading and access aids for visually impaired persons. Accessibility is ensured, thanks to a freely accessible elevator. more information
Foreign language center and courses
There is a foreign language centre. Languages offered: English, French, German as a foreign language, Spanish, Italian, Russian, Chinese, Japanese. Students can participate in the programmes of the Bavarian Virtual University. The language centre also offers students workshops, individual language guidance and module-based support for English and German as a foreign language. more information

The university offers its own sports programme. Participation is subject to fees. Sports: Higher, faster, further – the university sports programme offers a wide range of ball sports, among other things, but also bouldering, swimming, strength training and other sports.
