In addition to print media, the range includes a continually increasing number of electronic media such as e-books, DIN standards, electronic journals and full text databases. To avoid waiting times, loans are fully automated using RFID and a self-booking system. Specialist staff can consequently focus on customer service in the teaching of information skills: guided tours, training on how to use the library and search techniques for efficient searches in the library catalogues and databases. Special features regarding university sports
The Rosenheim university sports programme is one of the most active of all the German universities and its participants have a higher than average rate of success. Rosenheim is, for example, the reigning university champion in basketball and volleyball and home to the German university women's tennis champion. In snowboard they placed 4th and 10th in the German University Championships. Hochschule Rosenheim has been extremely successful in the Bavarian university championships in which up to 10,000 students from all universities and universities of applied sciences can participate, always achieving a top-three position. more information
