Opening times central course guidance
Tue 13:00-16:00 (personal guidance only), Thu 10:00-12:00 (personal guidance only), Thu 13:00-14:00 (telephone guidance only). Appointments are also possible by arrangement.
Special features regarding the library
The entire stock in the university library comprises 160,900 media items, this includes books, videos, DVDs, journal volumes, theses and 300 current journals. In addition to the key print media for the degree courses, e-books, e-journals, online databases and database portals are also available for campus-wide use, and can also be accessed remotely from home by all members of the university. The library offers introductions to OPAC and literature database searches as part of its "Media Competency and Propaedeutics" courses. more information

Special features regarding university sports
The university offers its own sports programme. Some courses are free of charge, some subject to fees. Students attending the institution can participate in the sports programme of all other state higher education institutions in Berlin. The movement and sports programme at the Alice Salomon Hochschule Berlin is a basic component of health management with the aim of strengthening the skills of all university members to maintain personal health. The movement & relaxation courses promote the development of physical and psychosocial health resources. A broad range of courses such as e.g. current back exercises (internal to ASH), Pilates, Zumba, an open movement workout, yoga and acrobatics & juggling are open to all ASH member groups and students of other universities. The range of activities is continuously evaluated. more information
