The library serves as a central facility for supplying information to students and teaching staff. Opening Hours: Mon-Fri 9:00-21:00, Sat 10:00-15:00, during examination periods Mon-Sat until 22:00. Services: around 210,000 volumes of specialist literature for academic study and teaching; More than 50,000 e-journals, e-books and databases; Individual workspaces, group rooms and learning lounge; PC pool. Special features regarding university sports
The university offers its own sports programme. Some courses are free of charge, some subject to fees. The programme is open to: Students of all higher education institutions in Hesse. Students of the FRA-UAS may participate at all other universities in Hesse. Extensive and varied indoor sports programme (approx. 60 courses per week). Low course fees and online registration (10.-€ per course and semester for students; Multicard 25.-€ for all courses for students). A further great advantage is that the sports hall is located directly on the campus. Extensive outdoor programme for extremely affordable prices. The university has a 20 metre sports climbing wall. more information
