Opening times central course guidance
Mon-Fri: 09:00-12:00; Tuesday and Thursday: 13:00-16:00. Telephone consultation: Monday to Friday: 09:00-16:00. Appointments are also possible by arrangement.
Special features regarding the library
The library serves as the university's central facility for supplying information to students and teaching staff. Opening hours: Mon-Fri 9:00-21:00, Sat 10:00-15:00, during examination periods Mon-Sat until 22:00. Enquiries: 069/1533-3300. Services: around 208,000 volumes of specialist literature for academic study and teaching; More than 40,000 e-journals, e-books and databases; Individual workspaces, group rooms and learning lounge; PC pool. WIFI; DIN A3 book scanners; Training and guidance; online tutorials; loans and interlibrary loans; WIPS academic publication server; exhibitions and events. more information
Foreign language courses
There is a foreign language centre. Arabic, Chinese, Dutch, German as a Foreign Language, English, French, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish. more information
Special features regarding university sports
The university offers its own sports programme. Some courses are free of charge, some subject to fees. The programme is open to: Students of all higher education institutions in Hesse. Students of the FRA-UAS may participate at all other universities in Hesse. Extensive and varied indoor sports programme (approx. 60 courses per week). Low course fees and online registration (10.-€ per course and semester for students; Multicard 25.-€ for all courses for students). A further great advantage is that the sports hall is located directly on the campus. Extensive outdoor programme for extremely affordable prices. The university has a 20 metre sports climbing wall. In addition, we host large workshops and courses with grand masters, e.g. in karate and Capoeira, and once a year we host a large dance ball. more information
