Locations: The library provides information for students, instructors and staff and is located at a central spot on the university campus.; Stock: Around 210,000 volumes of specialist literature in print; Subscriptions to around 350 journals in print, more than 30,000 E-Journals, more than 50,000 E-Books and some 80 specialist databases. There is a foreign language centre. Languages offered: English, French, German as a foreign language, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Russian, Chinese, Japanese, Turkish, Arabic, Dutch, Korean and Language of Origin courses for the following languages: Turkish, Russian, Arabic, Polish, Persian and Chinese. more information |
The university offers its own sports programme. The programme is open to all university members and, in exceptional cases, to guests. There are cooperation agreements with the Centre for University Sports at Goethe University Frankfurt as well at Giessen University and the RheinMain University of Applied Sciences. Some courses are free of charge, some subject to fees. Be it the course offer, the different participants or the variety of sports facilities on and off campus, campus sports live through their diversity.
