Special features regarding the library
Fulda University and State Library (HLB) offers its stock at two sites: at the campus on Heinrich-von-Bibra-Platz in the city centre. In addition to the printed inventory, there are a large number of e-books, e-journals and databases. Among other things, the HLB offers numerous training courses, for example for Citavi, on literature management and knowledge organization. With its new building constructed in 2013, the HLB is a state-of-the-art on-campus learning and information centre, complete with many individual and group work rooms and a training room. more information

There is a foreign language centre. Languages offered: English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Polish, Russian, Chinese, Turkish, Arabic, Persian, Swedish, Swahili, Danish. more information
Special features regarding university sports
The university offers its own sports programme. Some courses are free of charge, some subject to fees. Fulda University students may take part in all sports programs of other universities. The organizer of the "external" sports offers may be required to clarify insurance status issues. The general university sports programme of Fulda University of Applied Sciences offers a wide range of activities in the following areas: leisure, health and recreational sports. In the educational ranking of the German University Sports Federation from 2014 to 2016, the Fulda university sports programme (HSP) came first. The HSP has a good network in the region and close connections with organised sports. HSP courses and activities are also offered on a reduced scale during the non-lecture periods. FiduS, the active exercise break for students and teaching staff is part of the HSP. more information
