Special features regarding the library
Fulda University and State Library (HLB) offers its stock at two sites: on the campus and in the city centre on Heinrich-von-Bibra-Platz. In addition to the print stocks, the library also offers e-books, e-journals and databases. The HLB has obtained a campus licence for the literature management system Citavi for literature management and knowledge organisation purposes. With its new building constructed in 2013, the HLB is a state-of-the-art on-campus learning and information centre, complete with many individual and group work rooms and a training room. more information

Special features regarding university sports
The university offers its own sports programme. Some courses are free of charge, some subject to fees. The students of the Hochschule Fulda can participate in all sports programmes of other universities. If necessary, insurance issues have to be discussed with the organiser of “external” sports offers. The general university sports programme of Fulda University of Applied Sciences offers a wide range of activities in the following areas: leisure, health and recreational sports. In the educational ranking of the German University Sports Federation from 2014 to 2016, the Fulda university sports programme (HSP) came first. The HSP has a good network in the region and close connections with organised sports. HSP courses and activities are also offered on a reduced scale during the non-lecture periods. FiduS, the active exercise break for students and teaching staff is part of the HSP. more information
