Central library system with three sites, expenditures for media 2017: around € 631,296. University library Bielefeld campus with learning centre and university library Lampingstraße in the immediate vicinity of the relevant departments, open approx. 75 h per week. Around 440 workplaces, some with PC and 3D printers; target-group-specific training programme, from first semester students' introduction to workshops on the use of specialist information sources and other support services for academic study and learning, integrated in courses as necessary; ILIAS learning management system and other e-learning services. more information |
There is no foreign language centre. The foreign language training takes place as part of the degree courses and is integrated into the curricula. Students at universities of applied sciences have guest access to courses at the foreign language centre of the Universität Bielefeld. more information |
