Special features regarding the library
The university library of FH Düsseldorf comprises three specialist libraries: Technology/Design specialist library on the north campus and Social Science and Economics specialist libraries on the south campus. All specialist libraries are open Monday to Friday 08:00-20:00 and Saturday 10:00-16:00. In addition to print books and journals, we also offer access to specialist databases, e-journals, e-books and e-learning materials. We support the search for academic specialist information through training and one-to-one sessions. more information

Special features regarding university sports
The university offers its own sports programme. Participation is free of charge. The programme is open to students of the HHU. The joint Sports Department of the four universities in Düsseldorf allows students and staff of the University of Applied Sciences to be offered a wide range of courses and sports: 14 ball sports from badminton to lacrosse and volleyball; 28 courses in individual and fitness sports from aerobics to climbing and taiko; 13 martial arts from aikido to judo and Tai Chi Chuan; 14 dance sports from Anatolian folklore to merengue and tribal dance; 4 water sports such as kayak, rowing, swimming and sailing. more information
