The university library with its four sites provides for the needs-focused, prompt supply of specialist information in printed and digital format for studying, teaching and research. The library training imparts knowledge regarding academic research, information acquisition and processing of search results. Special features regarding university sports
The university offers its own sports programme. Some courses are free of charge, some subject to fees. Participation in the university sports programme in Cologne, to which the Gummersbach and Leverkusen campuses also belong, is possible. The university sports programme for Cologne, which also includes the Gummersbach and Leverkusen campuses, has at its foundation a cooperation of 13 universities in the region of Cologne.
