Special features regarding university sports
The university offers its own sports programme. Participation in the university sports programme in Cologne, to which the Gummersbach and Leverkusen campuses also belong, is possible. The university sports programme for Cologne, which also includes the Gummersbach and Leverkusen campuses, has at its foundation a cooperation of 13 universities in the region of Cologne.
